According to The Lawbook Exchange, "Described in Swann catalogue record, being 7 volumes of (inbound) letters to the firm of Storrs & Sedgwick, and 2 letterpress copybooks of their outgoing corresdondence covering the period of 1857-1858 and 1861-1862. The letters received are in volumes created for this purpose with an adhesive inner gutter, enabling one to mount the letters in chronological order as received. Each letter is numbered in the upper right hand corner and an index was created at the rear of each volume. Each volume has between 200 and 250 letters, so there are approximately 1500 letters to the firm. As noted in the catalogue description they cover the period of of 1852-1864. Additionally there is another volume covering the letters to the law firm of Russell & Storrs from 1850, and another volume of Sedgwick's letterpress copybook from 1885-1890."
