"The proceedings of the VIII Congress have been recorded in two volumes. Volume I, which has been issued both in the English and in the Spanish languages, contains the names of the officers of and participants in the Congress ... the verbatim minutes of the plenary sessions ... a list of the 168 technical papers submitted to the Congress, and the texts of the relators' reports on those papers ... Volume II, which has been issued in the Spanish language only, contains the texts of the technical papers (36 in number) which were selected by the prize award jury for special recognition."
