"This curious little formulary in dialogue ... [is] at the beginning of a volume recently acquired by Messrs. Sweet and Maxwell at a sale of mss. from the Phillipps collection ... It is written in French ... Early in the history of the Selden society Maitland printed [in volume IV of the society's Publications] another version of it, differently arranged, from a ms. in the Cambridge university library and was able to correct this from three other versions in the British museum." cf.
