Summary
January 24, 1848 Report of the Board of Code Revisors, regarding the state of the Court of Appeals and General Courts. The board expressed concern regarding the efficiency of the appellate courts, finding long delays in rulings and other significant issues. Also attached was a proposed bill which would establish a Special Court of Appeals and diminish the number of judges of the General Court. Of note, pages 7 and 8 are missing, although both the report and proposed bill are complete.
