Summary
1861 Communication from Virginia Governor John Letcher regarding three Michigan resolutions transmitted to him by Michigan Governor Austin Blair. These resolutions were not copied but returned to the Michigan governor "without comment". Letcher's critical summary of these resolutions indicated that Michigan was fully supportive of the United States' position.
