Summary
MoneyLaw (and beyond) examines two significant, current judicial topics: the benefits of Big Data analytics - in particular network analysis - to case law analysis, and the primary position of the monetary perspective in tort law. The book, accordingly, explores how network analysis can be utilised to assist legal researchers in identifying similar decision clusters and their respective precedents.0In addition, the author applies an empirical approach to discuss the role of the monetary perspective, especially in tort law. He evaluates various possible ways to overcome the limitations of monetary compensation and explores new ways to remedy the mismatch between what tort victims seek and what they can receive from the tort law system.
