Summary
Wrapper: Copy Indian intelligence delivered to Governor Denny 2 June 1758. Information of Benjamin, an Indian, who came to Bethlehem May 29th, 1758. Benjamin had traveled to Ceningo to get his sister, who wanted to be near him. As he traveled, he met an old friend who said he was leaving for Ohio because the Native Americans were being lured into Wyoming so the English could control them and steal their land. There was to be a big Council to decide which side the Indians would chose, but he wasn't waiting around to find out. When Benjamin found his sister, he convinced her group to remain and make the usual planting, but all the time he was there, natives passed through fleeing the English. As he and his sister traveled east, they met with strange people on the Susquehanna. When Benjamin got to Wyoming, he reported all his observations to Teedyuscung, who was surprised.
