Tax warrant form for November 1754, as directed by an act of the court or assembly that met beginning May 29, 1754. Includes blank spaces for the name of town and for the amount to be paid. The form indicates "These are in His Majesty's name to will and require you to collect all and every the sums of money mentioned in the list or lists of the tax or assessment of your town, made by the assessors or select-men of the said town, and commended to you to collect." The document has a space for signature at end and text, "Given under my hand and seal at Boston, the first day of November 1754, in the twenty-eighth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second, of Great-Britain, &c. King."
