Summary
A copy of the Secretary's minutes of a conference between Teedyuscung and the Governor the eighteenth day of September 1760. The Chief said he had learned that some New England settlers had moved west of the Susquehanna. He wanted the Governor to get the people removed, or else his people would do it. The Governor said he had heard it also and had directed the local Sheriff to find out what was happening. The Chief wanted to be told what came of that. Document 2: Header: A copy of the Secretary's minutes of so much of a conference between Teedyuscung and the Governor as related to the subject of the preceding No. 1. On 13 November, 1760, Teedyuscung met the Governor to see about the Sheriff' report. The Sheriff said there were twenty families from Connecticut who claimed to have deeds from Delaware living in New Jersey. The Governor would try to get them moved.
