Summary
Johnson laid out his long service history, beginning in 1746, with the Indians and the Army. He detailed the money he had spent from his own resources that had not been reimbursed; at one point it was L2,746! He had provided services for New York that had not been compensated. His wartime accomplishments were listed. He had encountered some difficulties because his wartime rank had not been officially confirmed. In closing, he asked that his rank be confirmed and he receive compensation for his private outlays.
