Summary
Burns and George McSwain were taken prisoner by four armed Indians and taken west to a large camp. Burns thought the Indians were Delawares and Shawnee; some told him they had been pushed too far and were coming to take back their land. He and McSwain were separated and Burns was able to escape to sound the alarm. He swore to the truth of his statement before Morris and signed with his mark.
