Summary
Matters proposed by Mr. Paris to be wrote by the Pennsylvania proprietary to Mr. Peters relating to the Treaty with Sir William Johnson and the Indians. He thought Peters should take all the documents from former Councils and land transaction to use if necessary. He should have copies of any communications with Sir Johnson. The Commissioners who attend the meeting should have the power to transact business then and there so the Indians' minds are not poisoned during delays. The government of Pennsylvania is the only entity able to make treaties--not some non-governmental group. All the parties to the treaty should be entitled to be part of the process and be those who could take action to act on the agreement.
