Mr. Hamilton's notes [?] to Wm. Allen and others 19 July 1758. Header: July 19, 1758 Pg. 1, Line 10 after the word Proprietary say and character of the perfect Proprietor in the charge made by the Indians being principally against them. Mr. Hamilton acknowledged that Teedyuscung held the upper hand, because if the Proprietor fought back, and he was not in a position of strength, the Province would "be deluged in blood."
