Summary
Taimenend to the wise Delawares, Fort Pitt, 18th September, 1777. He swore he had never deceived them; he was leaving immediately to go to Philadelphia to give an account of the situation at the fort. He would tell the Congress all the good things the Delaware had done and, about the 1st of November, would send a message about how Congress responded. Mr. Liesberger had arrived [new agent?] so you can tell him anything that concerns you. As Taimenend was getting ready to leave, he asked for anything the Delaware wanted to relay to Congress.
