Summary
This is a gathering of many deeds, depositions, and other documents relating to various land purchases made by the Penns from the local Indians, chiefly Delaware. They would be a very valuable resource, but every single one of the fifty sheets has significant losses. The few maps are difficult to understand because so many of the place names have changed. Most of these documents revolve around the land from the Delaware to the Susquehanna and the endless controversy about the day and a half walk. There are two long lists of the goods used to pay the Indians for the land.
