Summary
Copy of the speech of His Excellency General Shirley to the Indians of the Six Nations. Shirley presented himself to the Nations through General Johnson, whom he had ordered to look after the Nation's interests. He urged the Nations not to fear the coming fight--there were many more English than French. The next two pages were difficult to impossible to read. Part of it seemed to be about the situation in Pennsylvania, but the rest is illegible. The final section exhorted the Nations to join the fight, because then their neighbors would know they were still able to conquer them.
