Note
"An act to discontinue in such manner, for such time as is therein mentioned, the landing and discharging, lading or shipping of goods, wares, and merchandise, at the town, and within the harbour of Boston, in the Province of Massachusetts-Bay, in North America. Hereas dangerous commotions and insurrections have been fomented and raised in the town of Boston, in the Province of Massachusetts-Bay, in New England, by divers ill affected persons, to the subversion of his Majesty's government and to the utter destruction of the public peace and good order of the said town; in which commotions and insurrections certain valuable cargoes of teas ... were seized and destroyed." --First paragraph.
Passed by Parliament on March 31, 1774.
Followed by two advertisements: To be sold, by S. Southwick, A Master-key to Popery ... [and] John Waterman hath lately built the completest works in the colony, for making chocolate, near the paper-mills, in Providence.
Presumably printed by Solomon Southwick of Newport, perhaps as a supplement to his Newport Mercury.
Text in two columns.
