"Resolved, that the Senators and Representatives of this Commonwealth in Congress, be requested to use their endeavors to procure the passage of a law for the immediate distribution of such a number of muskets, rifles, pistols, swords and field pieces, with their appertinent accoutrements among the several states and territories, in proportion to the effective militia in each, as may be necessary for arming and equipping the non-commissioned officers and privates in the militia of the said states and territories."--Page 3-4.
