"Resolve, Whereas the General Court, at their present session, have ordered Precepts to issue to the Selectmen of the several Towns and Districts, and to the Assessors of the unincorporated Plantations within this Commonwealth, requiring them to convene the qualified Voters of their respective Towns, Districts, and Plantations, on the day of [blank] day of [blank] next, for the purpose of collecting their sentiments, on the necessity or expediency of revising the Constitution, in order to amendments, agreeably to the provision therein made: And, whereas an act of government is necessary for carrying the said Precepts into effect--it is therefore resolved ...: pages [7]-8.
