Ordered, that the memorial of a committee appointed by the delegates assembled in convention at Brunswick, pursuant to an act of this commonwealth, entitled, "An act concerning the separation of the District of Maine from Massachusetts proper, and forming the same into a separate and independent state," together with the several petitions and remonstrances relative to that subject, be committed to the Hon. Messrs. Otis, Pickman, Pickering, Fuller and Weston, with such as the hon. House may join, to consider and report.
