"The Committee appointed pursuant to an Order of the last Legislature, of April 5th, upon the Petition of Philo Temple and others, praying that certain territory, described in said Petition, may be taken from the town of Deerfield and annexed to the town of Greenfield, with instructions 'to view the premises, notify and hear the parties, and report their opinion to the next Legislature,' have attended to the duty assigned them, and now submit the following report ..."--Page 3.
