"That there be allowed and paid out of the Treasury of this Commonwealth, to the heirs of Gilbert Dench, the sum of four thousand seven hundred and four dollars, in full compensation for all claims on this Commonwealth, for any losses sustained by said Dench, during the Revolutionary War; and that the Governor be authorized to draw his warrant therefor in favor of said heirs, or in favor of any of said heirs, respectively, for the portions, to which they may be justly entitled."--Page [36].

Includes a petition of Gilbert Dench (dated Feb. 1806); a petition from John Wilson, for himself, and other heirs of Gilbert Dench; a report of a Massachusetts joint special committee of the legislature; documents related to the claim; and a resolve of the legislature. The claim is for losses and expenses incurred during the Revolutionary War. Gilbert Dench died in 1807.
