Summary
The Committee on Education offered: An Act to establish a medical college in the City of Lowell, 1841. Five men were incorporated as Lowell Medical College, subject to Chapter 44 of the Revised Statutes. The degree had the same status as a degree from Harvard and there would be a Board of Overseers, the same as Harvard. The corporation could have capital of $20,000.
