"House of Representatives, March 19, 1835. Ordered, That Messrs, Lincoln, of Worcester, Johnson, of Andover, and Sutton, of Salem, be a Committee, with instructions to investigate and ascertain whether the town of Middleton, Dorchester, or any other town in the Commonwealth, has charged and received for keeping State Paupers, a greater sum than they were actually entitled by law to receive, since the year 1830."--Page [3].
