Ordered, that the committee on the attorney general's report be instructed to inquire if any, and what alterations are required in the statute of March 19, 1831, entitled an Act limiting the tenure of office and establishing the salaries for clerks of the judicial courts, so as to extend the same to the clerk of the municipal court for the city of Boston, or into any alterations that may be expedient in said act.
