Massachusetts bill to incorporate the Winnisimmet Company. "The said Corporation is hereby authorized and empowered to purchase and hold the ancient Ferry known by the name of the Winnisimmet Ferry, and to construct and maintain such wharves, landing-places, docks, buildings, and other works, as may be suitable and convenient for the Steam Boats and other vessels which may be used on said Ferry, and for the accommodation of foot passengers, horses, carriages, baggage, and merchandize."--Page 4.
