The committee appointed to inquire into the expediency of measures being taken, to procure copies of such records and papers, as may exist in the archives of Great Britain, in relation to the settlement, government and history of Massachusetts, from the time of its discovery, until 1784 : and of providing for the examination, arranging and labelling of the papers in the lobbies of the State House, beg leave to submit the following report.
