Summary
1825 report of a Massachusetts House committee considering amendment of the 3rd article of earlier amendments to the Massachusetts Constitution. This had to do with suffrage and eliminating a provision that one forfeited one's voting rights by failing to pay taxes. The Committee recommended striking the language qualifying a voter as one who has paid his property tax for the last two years. The report is signed by Wm. B. Adams.
