Summary
Document consists of two parts. The first announces the opening of a post office in Parr-Town, a section of what is now St. John, New Brunswick, signed by the postmaster, Caleb Jones. The second, drawing on the first, describes the accommodations, cost, and schedule of the postal ferry service between the towns of Parr-Town (N.B.), Annapolis [Royal] (N.S.) and Digby (N.S.) signed by Peter Trotter.
