Summary
Includes a statement by Samuel W. Hill, resident of Keweenaw County and general superintendent of the Pennsylvania and the Delaware Mining Companies, in support of the new townships (pages 2-6). Hill notes the new townships will help with problems between the Germans and Irish, would provide better administration, and would provide better representation for citizens and those with mining interests.
