Message. : Gentlemen of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives. I have the honor of transmitting a memorial of the mayor, recorder, aldermen and commonalty of the city of Troy in the state of New York, conveying an assurance of the hearty concurrence of the people and common council of that city in the construction of a railroad from the city of Boston to the eastern shore of the Hudson River, and of their desire to afford every neessary facility for advancing the progress of the proposed enterprise, which may reasonably be requested of them ... .
