Summary
Report of the Michigan House Committee on Federal Relations "to whom was referred sundry petitions in reference to the law known as the fugitive slave law." (Page 1). The petitioners are seeking a repeal of the fugitive slave law. The report concludes, "Entertaining these views, your committee have instructed me to report adverse to the prayer of your petitioners, and that any legislation on the subject is unnecessary and inexpedient."
