Summary
Report of the Michigan Senate Committee on Printing, "to whom was referred the petition of Ferdinand Seivers and seventy-seven others, praying that our constitution and laws may be translated and published in the German language." The committee notes how expensive this would be and that a majority of immigrants are Germans. The committee is not in support of the petition to translate the entire code of statute, and recommends the translation and publication of portions of immediate interest.
