Summary
Report of the Michigan House Committee on Education in response to a memorial of the State Teachers' Association advocating for a state allocation that would allow the publishers to furnish three copies of the Michigan Common School Journal and Teachers' Magazine to each township with a public school. The Committee writes in support of the allocation, noting that "good teachers make good schools," and "it is believed that [the journal] will be anxiously sought after, and its pages eagerly perused."
