Summary
Two versions of a Massachusetts act related to auctions. As noted in No. 29, "if any person, licensed to sell at public vendue or outcry, shall sell any goods, wares, merchandize, chose in action, or estate, real, personal or mixed, at public vendue or outcry, at any time before sunrise or after sunset, he shall forfeit and pay a sum not less than fifty, nor more than two hundred dollars for each offence..."
Note
Dutton and Wentworth were printers to the state in 1828.
