Summary
Report of the Secretary of the Military Board regarding the number of volunteers, state troops, regiments, and arms in place since the commencement of the United States Civil War. The report includes a copy of the letter requesting information from L.W. Humphrey, S.S. pro tem, to Warren Winslow, Military Secretary, dated August 21st, 1861; and the response addressed to Henry T. Clark, Speaker of the Senate, and signed by Warren Winslow. Included in the report are information about the regiments of the state, the number of state troops and volunteers, and the number of arms (muskets, artillery, rifles, carbines, sabres, percussion pistols, and revolvers).
