Summary
Minority report of the Louisiana Committee on Internal Improvements, which recommends passage of the bill which would provide for a state subscription for one-fifth of the capital stock of the New Orleans and Baton Rouge Railroad bill. The report notes that, "the New Orleans and Baton Rouge Railroad is a work of great public utility, and that the interests of the State require its immediate construction." (Page 3) The report is signed by H.J. Ranney, Thos. G. Mackey, Eug. B. Olivier, and P.C. Wright.
