Summary
Report of a Joint Committee of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and Senate considering the portion of the governor's speech on the extension of territorial limits and forming new states from outside the United States territory. This report resulted in several resolutions, including one specifically opposing the recent admission of Louisiana into the Union. The report is preceded by the resolutions of the House and Senate appointing its members.
