Summary
Report of the Special Committee to ascertain the whereabouts of certain moneys illegally paid out and abstracted from the State Treasury. The report includes extracts of testimony. The Committee found fault with actions of the Board of Examiners and the cashier of the State Treasury, E.A. Rowe. The Committee proposed a method for paying a debt to New York or seeking remedy against Rowe. They expected that the Board would comply with the law in the future.
