Summary
Report of the Board of War Examiners regarding operations, with several tables attached. Includes information on Congressional appropriations and problems with the bonds issued by the State. It is noted that $400,000 was approved by Congress to "pay the expenses of Indian hostilities." The tables provide information on state appropriations by county, war date, audited claims, and Congressional appropriations; bonds issued by the state treasurer for "too great an amount" with the number of bonds, to whom they were issued, the number of the certificates, amount of certificates, and the amount of bonds; claims in Siskiyou that were over-audited; and amounts not included in Congressional appropriation by county.
