Summary
Report submitted by the Ohio Board of Public works in response to a resolution of the House of Representatives, which requests information about the construction of a dam on the Maumee River. The dam is intended to supply water to the Wabash and Erie canal. The report provides information on work completed, costs, estimated costs for completion, and estimates for related projects. It was estimated that the quantity of water would be ample for the needs. E. Dodd & Co. held the contract on some of the work. The report is addressed to the Ohio House of Representatives and is signed by Leander Ransom and William Spencer. It is dated January 31, 1845.
