Summary
Report submitted in response to a resolution of the Ohio House of Representatives, requesting information on the probably impact of suspending public work projects, how the suspension would affect contractors, laborers, and others, and impact on tolls. The report includes information for the following unfinished projects: Wabash and Erie Canal, Extension of the Miami Canal (Sidney Feeder and Main Line), Muskingum Improvement, Hocking Canal, Walhonding Canal, and Urbana, Troy and Greenville Turnpike. The report is addressed to the House of Representatives of the State of Ohio, and is signed by William Rayen, President, Board of Public Works. It is dated March 6th, 1841.
