"The legislature of Indiana by a joint resolution, approved on the 22d inst., directed the undersigned to visit the seat of Government of Ohio, for the purpose of urging upon the consideration of the Legislature, now in session, the importance and necessity of a speedy completion of the Wabash and Erie Canal, from the Indiana State line to the Maumee Bay."--Page 5.
