"The Directors appointed to construct the Ohio Lunatic Asylum, present to your honorable body the following as their final report: From the date of the last report, the work was continued under the direction of the superintendent of the buildings until the 20th of April last, when the Asylum was so far completed as to render his services unnecessary, except for closing some unsettled accounts; when this was accomplished, his official duties ceased, and those of this board of Directors were also considered at an end. Annexed is the report of the late superintendent, showing the payments and expenditures."--Page 1.
