Summary
1940 report of the Select Committee regarding the special report of the Board of Public Works, in relation to the letting of work on the Hocking Canal, and attached as an appendix to the House Journal. Of note, William Wall, a member and supervisor of the canal and Muskingum River improvements, contracted for improvements in violation of the board and Fund Commissioners' instructions. The select committee recommended dismissal of Wall for his actions.
