Summary
1940 report of the Select Committee which inquired into how many and which incorporated companies in the state had exercised banking powers within that past year by using their own notes, bills, checks, or orders without special authority. Included were the interrogatories which the committee prepared for the banks, and the responses thus far. Interrogatories are from the Bank of Granville Alexandrian Society, Bank of Granville, Ohio Railroad Company, Washington Social Library Company, Franklin Silk Company, and Monroe Falls Manufacturing Company.
