Summary
1841 report of the majority of the Standing Committee on Public Printing regarding the resolution of payment for various years of work, and submission of records by the State Auditor of the various records. The committee was to compare the comparative merits and defects of the current system with a permanent office of State Printer, with set compensation. The majority found the old system inefficient and expensive and favored presenting a bill to reorganize the state printing.
