Summary
Report of the Joint Select Committee on the Governor's message regarding opening a communication from Albemarle Sound to the ocean, printed in Raleigh in 1829. The report recommended that the General Assembly procure appropriations to open an inlet from Albemarle Sound to the ocean at Roanoke Island, at or near Nagg's Head, in order to improvement water transportation. This would improve the transportation of products of industry.
