1846 petition of Henry Ludlam and others (printed 1847), to the General Assembly, requesting an act to incorporate the Virginia and New York Steam Packet Company. The company was later incorporated as New York and Virginia Steamship Company in New York. Printed by the Virginia House of Delegates in 1847 with "Remonstrance of citizens of Richmond, against the petition of Henry Ludlam and others."
