December 23, 1843 Second Auditor's statements of the amount of money appropriated and expended by the state and individuals to improve the James and Kanawha Rivers and their tributaries, from October 1784 to the reporting date, pursuant to a House resolution. Also, includes a report on the condition of the Bank of the Valley in Virginia.
